The Hughes and Wasson Bank robbery in Richmond, Missouri took the lives of three townspeople. It was suspected that there were over a dozen men involved and warrants were made for 9 men, 6 of whom were former guerrillas. B. H. Williamson from Jackson County Law Enforcement was among the casualties that were shot and killed on May 26th, 1867 as he was trying to arrest seven men who were suspected of taking part in robbing the Richmond bank.
